Sunday, March 22
10:00am on Facebook Livestream
Dear Friends,

Right call. Right path. Right light. Right timing. Each passage this week references God-ordained rightness. God’s call of a leader might look different from tradition. The path of the Lord as Shepherd is the path of righteousness. When God illuminates our way, we are children of light, seeking what is good and right and true. When the Lord works miracles in human lives, the timing belongs to God, not the arbitrary calendars of humanity. Step into God’s timing and God’s view. Hear God’s call and follow the path set by the Lord.
God instructs Samuel to stop mourning for Saul and to anoint a new king for Israel in Bethlehem. After examining seven of Jesse’s sons and rejecting them, Samuel finally anoints the youngest boy, David, and God’s Spirit comes upon him.
David’s Psalm of praise for the God who cares for him like a shepherd, providing nurture, peace, care, protection and an eternal place of belonging.
Paul encourages the believers to live as people of the light, doing what pleases God.
Jesus heals a man who was born blind, and, because his was done on the Sabbath, the religious leaders start an investigation, calling in the man’s parents and ultimately throwing the man out of the synagogue. Then, Jesus teaches that he came to bring sight to the blind and to reveal the blindness of those who think they see.
Gracious God, who created us in God’s own image, we are grateful for all that you have done for us, for all that you are doing in us, and for all that you will do through us. Open our eyes to see your presence among us, moving in powerful ways at all times and in all places.
Open our ears to hear familiar words in new ways-ways that will change us and challenge us to become the people you created us to be. Grant us the power and the courage to come out of the darkness and into the light of Jesus Christ, that we may serve you by serving others. We love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Amen.
Please remember we moved to Virtual Worship @ 10am. Until we announce another way of streaming, we will continue using Facebook live…

As we move to virtual worship, we can’t forget that bringing our gifts, offering is part of worship. We thank God that we still have the opportunity to do so even in these uncertain times. Please use this link Contribute to continue your contribution or to do a new one. Doing this we continue to bless the ministry we all love and care for.
Please tomorrow pay attention to your inboxes as we will be emailing our Sunday’s Order of Worship in several formats: pdf, jpeg, and regular email.
The idea is that you will follow and worship with us and even sing with us as well. Hope this will be helpful.
