As you know, the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet have merged with the Outreach House. Naturally, these are still very important ministries to our congregation and many of us want to financially support these vital services.
As a result of the transition and change in management, FUMC is no longer processing monetary donations or making deposits of these funds. Any checks for the Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry or FUMC Clothes Closet will be returned to you.
Going forward, all financial donations are handled and acknowledged by Outreach House. Make checks payable to Outreach House and send them to Outreach House, 220 South Main Street, Lombard. Be sure to write Food Pantry or Clothes Closet on the memo line to designate your donation. Donations of food and clothing may still be delivered to our church.
If you donate online be sure to put “For Agency Credit for Lombard/Villa Park Food Pantry 1369A” in the memo/comment section. The Food Pantry gets most of their food from the Food Bank and can acquire $8 worth of groceries for every $1.

In our efforts to feed those in need while practicing social distancing, the amazing folks staffing the Food Pantry are still open at the hours below.
HOWEVER, please note that there is NO access to the building to pick up food. Instead, please use the lower level driveway (access on Main Street at the north end of the church).
Please drive in, stop your car and check in with the Pantry Staff as you enter, continue to drive all the way up the driveway to the parking lot, follow the signs to make a u-turn, and when you get back to the check-in point, the Pantry Staff will load your items in to your car. To keep this flowing, and for the safety of all, please do not get out of your car.
Lombard-Villa Park Food Pantry hours:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week from 9am to 11:45am
Wednesday night hours are 5pm to 6:45pm**
3rd Saturday of each month 9am to 11:45am

How can you help? Think about the words Jesus spoke: when I was hungry you fed me, when I was naked you clothed me. What you do for the least of my brothers and sisters you to for me. Prayers, donations (food and/or monetary) and volunteers are always welcome! Stop in to see how First United Methodist Church, Calvary Episcopal and First Church UCC are helping folks in our community that are in need – and ask how YOU can help!
